How much does cat sitting cost?

Cat sitting rates vary due to the customized cat sitting service cat sitters provide. Cat sitters set their own prices depending on their experience and the services they offer.

Average fees for daily cat visits or overnight stays

Daily visits | Drop-in visits

More experienced cat sitters who can offer more caring services, such as administering medication, will charge more. For a once-daily pop-in service at home, a cat sitter can charge from around $14 to $16. Twice daily pop-ins can cost from around $20 to $30.

Overnight stay | House sitting

Overnight stays are generally a bit more expensive as the cat sitter will spend more time with your cat and often provide other care services such as watering the plants, checking the mail and making sure your home looks ‘lived-in’ while you are away. On average, overnight stays can cost from $20 to $50 per night.
