A Criminal Record Check means that a cat sitter has a certificate stating that they do not have any criminal convictions. Before you book your cat vacation care, you can ask your local cat sitter to bring their certificate when you arrange your first meeting with them.
We encourage all cat sitters to obtain a police check, but this is not compulsory to join our community. If a cat sitter does have a Criminal Record Check it will be clearly shown on their profile page.
Cat owners are solely responsible for making decisions that are in the best interests of themselves and their cats. Criminal Record Checks don't have an official expiration date and it's up to the owner to decide if they accept it or not.
